The seat belt must be adjusted to
ensure it works in case of abrupt
braking or collision. Comply with the
belt direction indicated by the child
restraint system manufacturer.
Check that the seat belt is fastened
correctly.
Check that the child seat is correctly
locked in place by moving it left/right
and forwards/backwards: the seat
should remain firmly in place. Make sure
that the child restraint system is not
installed crosswise and is not resting
against a window.
