TO CORRECT AN ERROR
If, after setting your combination, the central knob cannot be turned fully to the right:
◼ Repeat the complet setting procedure. You may have made a mistake in setting 1 or
several counters.
◼ If the central knob can still not be turned completely to the right.
1. Inside the door, lift the concealment plate (or other device depending on the
product) to gzin zccess to the rear of the MC4.
2. Identify the 4 counter spindles; each sindle has a notch which must be positioned
strictly as show on right picture below.
3. If one or several notches are incorrectly positioned (example: counter 2 and 4), you
have made a mistake in setting the combination.
4. Outside the door, turn the cenral knob to select the marker of the counter in
question (example: counter 2).
5. Turn the central one in either direction until the notch sets to the correct position.
Repeat steps 4 and 5 for any other suspect counters (example: counter 4).
6. Position the selector on the marker “O”.
The central button must NOT BE moved again.
7. Repeat the complet setting procedure. (see “TO SET A COMBINATION”, step 3 to
10).
