CHECKING THE COMBINATION SETTING
Whit the door open and bolts extended:
1. With the selector set to the marker “O”, turn the central knob to the left stop position. The
MC4 is closed.
2. Select counter 1.
3. Turn the central knob to the right, counting notches.
4. Repeat steps 2, 3 and 4 for the other counters.
5. Position the selector on the marker “O”.
6. Turn the central knob completely to the right. The combination is correctly set. The MC4 is
open and automatically “scrambled”. If you cannot turn the central button to the right, see
“TO CORRECT AN ERROR”.
TO OPEN A DOOR FITTED WITH A MC4 LOCK WHOSE
COMBINATION HAS ALREDY BEEN SET
Example of combination: 9.3.0.10
1. Select counter 1.
2. Turn the central knob completely to the left (if necessary). Turn the central knob to the
right, mentally counting the notches (example 9).
If you have doubts, turn the central button completely to the left and start again.
3. Repeat the procedure for the other 3 counters.
4. Turn the central knob to the marker “O”.
5. Turn the central knob fully to the right.
• If this is possible:
• The lock bolt retracts,
• The lock is open
• If is not possible: the combination you have set is not the combination
recorded in the lock, repeat the operations starting from step 1.
