What to do if the Fimco LG-30-3N-TRL motor does not run?
    • T
      Tasha JacksonAug 8, 2025
If the motor of your Fimco Paint Sprayer isn't running, here are a few things to check: * Ensure there are no loose wiring connections. * Verify the 'ON/OFF' switch in the lead wire assembly is in the 'ON' position ('I' is 'ON', 'O' is 'OFF'). * Check the fuse. * Make sure you are connected to a good 12 volt power source and check for low voltage at the power supply. * Inspect the pressure switch. Remove the cap and detach both red wires from their terminals, then touch the two ends together. If the pump runs, the pressure switch needs replacement.

Why is the flow pulsating or surging in my Fimco LG-30-3N-TRL?
    • J
      Jon WadeAug 18, 2025
A pulsating or surging flow in your Fimco Paint Sprayer can be due to several reasons: * Low flow may cause the pump to surge. * The spray wand might be adjusted for a small or fine spray pattern. * There might be leaks or restrictions in the discharge line. * Debris in the nozzle orifice or a clogged strainer could be the issue. * The discharge hose might be too long. To resolve this, slightly open the bypass (if your sprayer has one). If needed, adjust the pressure switch a quarter turn clockwise until the surging stops. Also, check for a defective pressure switch.
