Remove the four screws that secure the emitter screen to the head assembly for disassembly.
Carefully detach the emitter screen from the main head assembly.
Unscrew the eight screws that hold the burner plate to the head assembly.
Locate and remove the screw that secures the pilot assembly bracket.
Remove the four threaded spacers that hold the heat shield in place.
Use an 8mm wrench to disconnect the gas line from the pilot assembly.
Remove the thermocouple wire that is connected to the tilt switch.
Disconnect the ignition wire from the control housing.
Install the new pilot assembly and reverse all previous steps for reassembly.
