Step 2- Slide out the Docking
Station ramps.
a) Fully lift your tailgate.
The Docking Station will
be fully assembled and
secured in position by
your engineer. You
should still carry out a
few safety checks
yourself on a daily basis
to ensure the Docking
Station is still secure.
b) Place your hands on
the center bar and
gently and slowly, with
no force, pull the center
bar towards you. The
rails will both come out
together.
c) Fully extend the rails.
Two OK labels will be
displayed when the rails
are fully extended.
Lower the rails to the
ground by bending
down--or you can use
the ‘Assisting Cane’
that’s provided to help
you avoid bending if
needed.
ALWAYS use both hands to hold the rail handles when sliding the ramp
sections in and out.
