Electrical connection
Ensure all domestic wiring is properly earthed.
Ensure the voltage and frequency values for the current in your home correspond to those on
the rating plate and that the electrical system is correct for the maximum voltage on the rating
plate. For the location of the rating plate, see Fig.2, no.13.
Insert the plug into a properly earthed switched outlet. Earthing the appliance is a safety
requirement prescribed by law.
If the power outlet to which the appliance must be connected is not appropriate for the plug,
replace the whole cable. Do not use adaptors as they can cause overheating and burns.
The dishwasher plug must be accessible even when the appliance is installed as a built-in unit
so that maintenance can be done safely and the customer can disconnect the appliance if
necessary.
Disposing of packaging and old appliance
Some of the packaging material is recyclable. Check the symbols and labels and recycle if
possible. Help protect the environment.
To avoid children getting trapped or injured while playing with an old appliance, ensure you
remove any doors, door locks and cables from the appliance.
