Adjusting the cooktop burner minimums
When switching from one type of gas to another, the minimum flow rate
must also be correct:
z
The flame should not go out even when passing suddenly from
maximum to minimum flame.
To regulate the flame follow these instructions:
Semi-rapid burner (
A
)
z
Light the burner
z
Set the gas valve to position (minimum rate)
z
Remove the dial.
z
With a thin screwdriver, turn the regulation screw inside the tap rod
until adjustment is correct.
Inside crown of DUAL burner (

)
z
Light the dual burner
z
Set the gas valve to position (minimum rate of inner crown)
z
Remove the dial
z
With a thin screwdriver, turn the regulation screw until adjustment is correct.
z
The screw is accessible via a hole in the microswitch.
Outside crown of DUAL burner (
C
)
z
Light the dual burner
z
Set the gas valve to position
(minimum rate of outer crown and maximum rate of inner crown).
z
Remove the dial
z
With a thin screwdriver, turn the regulation screw inside the tap rod
until adjustment is correct.
For LP/PROPANE gas, tighten the adjustmentacrews completely.
A Regulation screw (triple ring and semi-rapid burner)
B Regulation screw (inner crown of dual burner)
C Regulation screw (outer crown of dual burner)
