GAS
SYSTEM
Liquefied petroleum (LP) gas is the fuel used to operate the range,
oven, furnace and water heater
in
your motor home.
It
is also used to
power some refrigerators.
LP gas is safe
if
it is handled and stored
carefully and properly. It allows you to have the conveniences
of
home
wherever you travel.
The
LP gas storage tank is mounted on the motor home chassis. The
gas is stored
in
the tank as a liquid under pressure. A pressure regula-
tor controls the flow
of
the gas to your appliances.
A typical
LP gas tank installation is illustrated below. Although spe-
cific details
of
the system may differ
in
your motor home, the major
components and their relationships will be similar to those shown.
