Checking precision
It is recommended to check the device
regularly to ensure that it is always precise.
If the precision deviates from the permitted
tolerance range, the device must be taken
to a customer service workshop authorised
by the manufacturer.
Have the device adjusted by authorised
technicians only.
The steps required to check the precision
are explained at the end of these instructions
on the illustrated pages.

Maintenance and care
Observe the following instructions:
– Handle the measuring instrument with care
and protect it from impacts, vibrations and
extreme temperatures.
– Do not touch the receiver lens with your
fingers.
– Clean the lens with a soft, dry cloth only.
– When the measuring instrument is not
in use, keep it in the belt pouch.
003 The target aimed at reflects the laser beam
not enough.
➜ Aim at a different target;
if required cover (e.g. with white paper).
004 Temperature too high.
➜ Wait until operating
temperature (0 °C ... 40 °C) has been
reached.
005 Temperature is too low.
➜ Wait until operating
temperature (0 °C ... 40 °C) has been
reached.
006 Batteries too weak.
➜ Insert new batteries.
007 Strong vibrations or quick movement while
taking the measurement.
➜ Do not move
the measuring instrument while taking
the measurement.
008 Incorrect input for Pythagorean measurement.
➜ Observe the order of the displayed
measured sections.
