Theavailableresponselevelsare:

•Cruising—goodcourse-keepingwithout
overworkingthepilot.
•Performance—emphasisontightheading

7.4Initialsetupandcommissioning
Commissioningpre-requisites
Beforecommissioningyoursystemforthersttime,

Checkalsothatthecommissioningengineeris
familiarwiththeinstallationandcomponentsofthe
autopilotsystemincluding:
•Vesseltype.
•Vesselsteeringsysteminformation.
•Whattheautopilotwillbeusedfor.
•Systemlayout:componentsandconnections(you
shouldhaveaschematicofthevessel’sautopilot
system).
Initialset-up
