YoucanselectWindvanemodefromeither
STANDBYorAUTOmode:
1.Steadythevesselontotherequiredwindangle.
2.SelectWindvanemode:
i.Windvanemodecanbeselectedbypressing
theAutoandStandbybuttonstogether,or
ii.selectingWindvanemodefromthemodes
menu:Menu>Mode>Windvane.
ThiswillenableWindvanemodeandlockthe
currentwindangle.Thedisplayshowsthelocked
heading(e.g.128°)andthewindangle(e.g.
WIND145Pindicatesawindangleof145°to
port).
3.Theautopilotwillthenadjustthevessel’sheading
tomaintainthelockedwindangle.
Adjustingthelockedwindangle
1.Youcanadjustthelockedwindanglebyusing
the-1,+1,-10and+10buttons,ortheROTARY
controllertochangecourse.Forexample,tobear
awayby10°whentheboatisonastarboardtack:
i.press-10toturntheboat10°toport–the
lockedwindangleandlockedheadingwill
bothchangeby10°.
