INTRODUCTION

This
section
of
the
manual
contains
maintenance
information
for
the
Model
8024B.
This
includes
service
information,
general
maintenance,
performance
test,
calibration,
adjustments,
and
troubleshooting.
The
performance
test
is
recommended
as
an
acceptance
test
when
the
unit
is
first
received,
and
later
as
a
preventive
maintenance
toolto
verify
proper
instrument
operation.
A
2-year
calibration
cycle
is
recommended
to
maintain
the
specifications
given
in
Section
|
of
this
manual.
The
test
equipment
required
for
both
the
performance
test
and
calibration
adjustments
is
listed
in
Table
4-1.
If
the
recommended
equipment
is
not
available,
instruments
having
equivalent
specifications
may
be
used.

The

is
warranted
for
a
period
of
2
years
upon
delivery
to
the
original
purchaser.
Conditions
of
the
warranty
are
given
at
the
end
of
this
manual.

Malfunctions
that
occur
within
the
limits
of
the
warranty
will
be
corrected
at
no
charge.

mail
the
instrument
(postpaid)
to
your
nearest
authorized
(in-warranty)
Fluke
Technical
Service
Center.
A
complete
list
of
service
centers
is
provided
at
the
end
of
this
manual.
Dated
proof-of-purchase
will
be
required
for
all
in-warranty
repairs.

Factory
authorized
centers
are
also
available
for
calibration
and/or
repair
of
instruments
that
are
beyond
their
warranty
period.
