3. Turn rotary switch to K or L.
4. For 4-cycle engines that fire once every other
revolution, press A once to select RPMo. For
systems that fire every revolution (2-cycle engines),
and for DIS waste spark systems, press A twice
to select RPMn.
5. Clamp the Inductive Pickup to a plug wire near the
spark plug. (Make sure that the jaws are closed
completely and the side labeled SPARK PLUG SIDE
faces the spark plug).
6. Turn engine on. Read RPM on the display. Turn the
engine off before removing Pickup.
