Lay down the chain on the floor, as shown. Do not twist the chain.

Starting aligning the chain on the sprocket. Wrap
the chain around the sprocket. The sprocket
teeth must engage the chain as shown.
After aligning the chain on the sprocket.
Wrap the chain on the pulley.
