Vehicle identification number
The vehicle identification number
(VIN) is attached to a metal tag
and is located on the driver side
instrument panel. The VIN tag may
be seen by looking through the
windshield from outside the
vehicle.
Engine
number
The engine number (at last eight
numbers of the vehicle
identification number) is stamped
on the engine block, transaxle,
frame and transfer case (if
equipped).
