Cleaning the rear screen
To avoid damaging the heating
elements when cleaning the inside
of the rear screen use only a soft
cloth or a damp chamois leather. Do
not use solvent or sharp objects to
clean the glass.
To avoid imparing the wiper
effectiveness, clean the outside of
the rear screen with a non-silicone
solvent such as methylated spirit.
Do not apply any special coatings as
this may result in noisy wiper
operation.
Cleaning seat belts
Use interior cleaner or clean warm
water. Ford Interior Cleaner is
recommended. Dry naturally, away
from artificial heat.
Do not use chemical cleaners,
boiling water, bleach, or dye. Do not
allow moisture to penetrate the seat
belt retractor mechanism.
Care of leather trim
Use only suitable leather
cleaning materials and
detergents.
Wipe leather surfaces with a
moistened cotton or woollen cloth
and rub dry with a soft clean cloth.
Very dirty surfaces can be cleaned
with a mild detergent, such as soap
suds.
During normal usage it is
recommended that the leather is
treated with a special leather
preservation agent every six
months.
Leather must not be made too wet.
Take all necessary precautions to
ensure that no water gets into the
seams.
