POWER WINDOWS
Note: When the switches are
operated often during a short
period of time, the system might
become inoperable for a certain
time to prevent damage due to
overheating.
Global opening/global closing
The power windows can also
be operated with the ignition off
via the global opening/global
closing function.
Refer to sections Global opening
on page 73 and Global closing on
page 75.
Note: The global opening/global
closing feature will open/close the
windows automatically only on
vehicles equipped with four power
windows.
Note: Global closing will only
operate if the memory has been set
correctly for each window. For
further details, refer to the section
Resetting the memory, page 64.
Before operating the power
windows you should verify
they are free of obstructions and
ensure that children and / or pets are
not in the proximity of the windows
openings. Failure to do so could
result in serious personal injury. It
is the primary responsibility of the
supervising adults to never leave a
child unattended in a vehicle and to
never leave the keys in an unattended
vehicle.
