Automatic disarming
Switching on the ignition disarms
the system if the correct code is
recognised. The indicator light
illuminates for approximately
three seconds and then
extinguishes.
If the indicator light illuminates
constantly for one minute or flashes
for approximately one minute and
then repeatedly at irregular
intervals, the system did not
recognise the key code or a system
fault is present. Remove the key
and try again.
If the engine does not start, a
system malfunction has occurred.
Have the system checked by an
expert immediately. Ford
authorized repairers are recommended.
