  If your Fortinet Telephone isn't displaying a name and extension number, it means that your phone is not registered. To fix this, go to the Extensions page of the FortiVoice interface and make sure the MAC address is entered correctly and the Phone Type is set to FON-380. Save the configuration and reboot the phone. If your phone is set up as an external extension, confirm that the Server Address is correct. Also, if configured as an external extension, verify the network connection and firewall settings at the FortiVoice location.

  If the display on your Fortinet Telephone is blank, check the phone’s power source. If using Power over Ethernet (PoE), make sure the Ethernet cable is plugged into the WAN port and that the PoE switch is configured correctly; try replacing the Ethernet cable if needed. If using a power adapter, ensure it is plugged in; replace the adapter if it still doesn’t work.
