What to do if my Franke Dishwasher won’t start?
    • M
      martha05Aug 13, 2025
If your Franke dishwasher won't start or respond to commands, first, ensure the appliance is properly plugged into the socket. In case of a power outage, the dishwasher won't restart automatically. Open the door, press the START/Pause button, and close the door within 4 seconds. Also, make sure the dishwasher door is fully closed until you hear a click. If the cycle is interrupted by opening the door for more than 4 seconds, press START/Pause and close the door again within 4 seconds. If the display shows 9 or 12 and the On/Off LED is blinking rapidly, switch the appliance off and on again after one minute. If the problem continues, unplug the appliance for one minute and then plug it back in.

If your Franke dishwasher is not cleaning dishes properly, make sure the crockery is arranged correctly so the spray arms can rotate freely. Select an appropriate wash cycle. Ensure the detergent is measured correctly and is suitable for dishwashers. Also, verify that the rinse aid compartment cap is shut correctly. Why is my Franke Dishwasher making excessive noise?
    • J
      James BurkeSep 4, 2025
If your Franke dishwasher is making excessive noise, ensure the dishes are not rattling against each other by positioning the crockery correctly. If there's an excessive amount of foam, it could be due to incorrect detergent measurement or unsuitable detergent. Restart the current cycle by switching the dishwasher off and on again, selecting a new program, pressing START/Pause, and closing the door within 4 seconds. Do not add any detergent during this restart.
