8. This appliance as well as the cooking utensils used
and the surface of the appliance can become very
hot, do not touch the hot surface of the hob.
9. Metallic objects such as knives, forks, spoons and
lids should not be placed on the hotplate since they
can get hot.
10. That appliances are not intended to be operated by
means of an external timer or separate
remote-control system.
11. A steam cleaner is not to be used.
12. NEVER try to extinguish a fire with water, but switch
off the appliance and then cover flame e.g. with a
lid or a fire blanket.
13. After use, switch off the hob element by its control
and do not rely on the pan detector.
14. Disconnection incorporated in the fixed wiring is in
accordance with ASNZS 300.(Australian
requirements)

A short term cooking process has to be supervised
continuously.
