3. Intended use / Overview of the S-Series of Mobile Hoists
The Freeway Raiser is a sit to stand platform, which is designed to provide an
active, safe and comfortable transfer of the user. It is ideal for short distance
transfers, such as to/from bed to chair.
Its versatility allows use with wheelchairs, toilet and shower chairs. Soft and
wide padding in the leg support improves stability, and the sturdy handle offers
many grip options for both the user and the carer.
The rear wheels with independent locking manual brakes, makes it easy for a
carer to manoeuvre, and provides maximum stability and safety for the user.
The Freeway Raiser has a safe working load of 160 kg.
