tiesuponyourrequest with particular regard
to the scope of useofonline services accord-
ing to your selected settings.

tings/individualization in the vehicleatany
time.

Thisenables the useofselected smartphone

determinedbythe provider of the specific app
used.Which settingsyou can make, if any,
depends on the specific appand the operating
systemofyoursmartphone.
Online services
Wireless network connection
If your vehiclehas awirelessnetwork connec-
tion, it enables data to be exchanged between
your vehicleand additional systems. Thewire-
less network connectionisenabled via the
vehicle'stransmitter and receiver deviceorvia
connected mobileend devices (e.g. smart-
phones).Online functions can be used via the
wirelessnetwork connection. This includes
online services and applications/appsprovi-
dedbythe manufacturer or otherproviders.
Manufacturer's services
Regarding online services of the manufacturer,
the individual functions aredescribedbythe
manufacturer in asuitableplace (e.g. Opera-
tor'sManual, website of the manufacturer)
along with the relevant data protection infor-
mation. Personal data maybeusedfor the
provisionofonline services.Data is exchanged
via asecureconnection, e.g.the manufactur-
er'sdesignated IT systems. Personal data is
collected,processedand used via the provi-
sion of services exclusively on the basisof
legalpermissions or with prior consent.
The services and functions (sometimes subject
to afee)can usuallybeactivated or deactiva-
ted.Insomecases,thisalsoapplies to the
entire vehicle's data connection. This
excludes,inparticular,legally prescribedfunc-
tions and services,suchas"E‑Call"the traffic
emergency callsystem.
Third party services
If it is possibletouse online services from
otherproviders,these services aresubject to
the data protection and termsofuse of the
responsibleprovider. Themanufacturer hasno
influence on the content exchanged.
