The shouldersectionofthe belt must
always be routed across the centerofthe
shoulder.

If necessary,pullupwards on the seatbelt
in front of your chest so thatthe belt sits
tightlyacross your body.

Make sure thatthe seatbeltisfully rolled
up.Otherwise, the seatbeltorbelttongue
will be trappedinthe door or in the seat
mechanism. Thiscould damage the door,
the door trim panel and the seatbelt. Dam-
aged seatbelts can no longerfulfill their
protective functionand must be replaced.

Press the release button in the belt buckle,
holdthe belt tonguefirmly and guidethe
belt back.

systemisnot exposedtodirect sunlight.
Protect it with ablanket, for example. If the
child restraint systemhas been exposedto
direct sunlight, letitcooldownbeforesecur-
ing the child in it. Never leavechildren unat-
tended in the vehicle.
