Engine fuel grade

Ahigh fuel sulfur content accelerates the
agingprocess of theengine oil and can
damage theengine and exhaust system.
The fuel sulfur content is set before thevehicle
is delivered.
Observe thenotes on dieselfuel and fuel
grade in the"Diesel fuel" section
(Y page 202).
Engine oil grade

If engine oils of differentgradesare mixed,
theengine oil change intervals are short-
enedcompared with engine oils of thesame
quality.
Therefore, only mix engine oils of different
gradesinexceptional circumstances. Set
thesheetnumber of theengine oil of the
lower grade under Engine oil gradeEngine oil grade in
ordertoavoid damage to theengine.
