The Friedman BE100 has been modeled after the legendary-sounding vintage stack of
David Friedman’s design. It offers the perfect complement to any engineering ses-
sion where one seeks a faithfully emulated 60’s and 70’s rock era guitar sound –
quickly and cleanly in the box and at any volume level.
The BE100’s diverse tonal palette ranges from chimey modified Marshall Plexi cleans
to intense and harmonically rich British distortion. This amp delivers punk and grunge
tones and classic British clean tones equally well.
Guitarists can also use their volume knob or the amp’s front panel for
more traditional vintage “Plexi” tones. With the “Simple Clean” and
“C45” mods engaged, players can go from lush, in-your-face guitar ag-
gression to singing, sparkling highs so pristine they do not require any
EQ. This makes the BE100 one of the most usefully versatile guitar
