The Controls of the BE100 Front Panel
POWER ON/OFF
The BE100 amp plug-in can be bypassed using this switch. Use this switch to com-
pare the processed settings to that of the original signal.
GAIN (Distortion):
The Gain knob on the BE100 controls the amount of distortion from the
amp’s 12AX7 driven preamp section.
Clean Volume:
Adjusts the clean channel’s volume.
MASTER:
This is the BE/HBE channel volume. The more you turn it up, the louder it gets.
BE and BHE TONE CONTROL (Bass, Middle, Treble and Presence):
Bass, Middle and Treble controls boosts or cuts from their respective frequency
bands. 5 (midway) is the approximate null point. These controls affect the Distor-
tion Channel only. Presence adds or removes brightness found in the upper mids
and lower highs. Just like Bass and Middle, 5 are the approximate null point. This
control affects all channels.
Clean TONE CONTROLS
Treble and Bass, behaves identical to the distortion tone controls, but affects the
clean channel only.
CUSTOM MOD CONTROLS
FAT Switch: Fattens up the BE100 tone. Ideal for single coil pickups
C45 Switch: a custom-voicing switch for the distortion channels. Engage for a more
scooped mid sound.
SAT Switch: Adds gain, compression and saturation to the BE100 distortion tones.
Due to the compression added to the tone, some loss of signal may occur, which can
be compensated by the Master Volume Control.
VOICE SWITCH: This is a subtle yet effective tonal variance for the BE/HBE channel.
Left position is slightly darker with more mids, right position is slightly brighter with a
bigger bass.
BRIGHT SWITCH: three-position switch that varies from the overall brightness of the
Clean Channel ONLY.
CHANNEL SELECTOR SWITCH: Switches between Clean, BE and HBE Channels.
