Optional Installation Method B: Uni-Fit Dual Intake Grille with
Ge-neric Sleeve (Not Friedrich USC Sleeve)

NOTE: Please follow Steps 1 through 5 of the recommended
installation methods before proceeding.
6. Install Uni-Fit Dual Intake Grille
a. Install the dual intake grille onto the back of the sleeve.
Warning: To prevent the sleeve from falling, secure grille with a
zip tie and remove after installation is complete.
b. Put the [OUTSIDE] lettering toward the back side of the sleeve;
The [UP] markings should be pointed to the top of the sleeve.
c. Ensure that from the back side of the TTW unit, the seven inlet
opening should be on the left side while the eight inlet opening
should be on the right side.

7. Seal the inside of the Wall-Sleeve
a. Stick and seal two 1” x 1
1/2
” x 25” pieces of seal sponge on top
and bottom of the back, inside edge of the shell
b. Stick and seal two 1” x 1
1/2
” x 13
3/4
” pieces of seal sponge on
left and right side of the back inside edge.
c. IMPORTANT: If the seal sponge blocks the grille inlet or outlet,
modify them to a suitable dimension or thickness that will not
cause any blockage.
8-9. Follow steps 8-9 of the recommended installation option to
finish the unit installation.
