Carefully pull out the blower unit. The wires
will extend far enough to allow you to adjust
the blower unit.
Roll the blower unit 90° so that fan blade openings
are facing toward the front of the microwave.

Slip the damper
out of the track
on the blower
frame by pressing
and twisting
both ends.
Remove the screw that holds the blower plate
to the microwave. Remove and save the screw
holding the blower motor to the microwave.

Remove tape securing damper.
Raise damper flap.
NOTE: Make sure wires remain routed in the
grooves of the motor frame.

Exhaust Adaptor

• Place the microwave in its upright position, with the
top of the unit facing up.
• The microwave oven may be shipped assembled for
top exhaust (adaptor installed) or for recirculation
exhaust (adaptor absent).
• If the microwave was shipped for recirculation
exhaust, remove the Exhaust Adaptor and proceed
to C5. If the microwave was shipped for top exhaust,
proceed to C4.

NOTE: The blower plate will be reinstalled in a
later step. The damper is not needed for recirculating
models. Save any unused parts for possible future use.
