Establishing a Connection Using the Online Wizard
The convenient online Wizard guides you step by step through the initial confi guration
of the FRITZ!WLANRepeater.
Requirements
Windows8, Windows7, WindowsVista or WindowsXP with Service Pack2 or
higher must be installed on your computer.
The computer must have access to the Internet.
The SSID (network name) of the WLAN base station must be set to “visible”, and if
the MAC address fi lter is enabled, it must be switched off for the initial confi gura-
tion. Both options are confi gured upon delivery of a FRITZ!Box.
Establishing a Connection
1. Start a web browser.
2. Enter avm.de/en/repeater in the address fi eld.
3. Load the Confi guration Wizard for the FRITZ!WLANRepeater on your computer.
4. Start the Wizard and follow the instructions on your screen.

You can connect the FRITZ!WLAN Repeater with your WLAN base station manualy.
Requirements
Your computer must have a LAN port.
At the LAN port an IP address must be obtained automatically (DHCP).
Establishing a Connection
1. Connect your computer with the FRITZ!WLANRepeater using the LAN cable includ-
ed in the package.
2. Open the browser on your computer and enter fritz.repeater in the address fi eld.
3. The FRITZ!WLANRepeater Wizard opens to guide you through the remaining
confi guration steps.
