7.2 Long-term Storage
When the machine is stored for more than half a year without being used, please store
it in a place where there is little dust and is dry, after taking following measures:
● When stored outdoors for a long time, the machine may be cracking due to the
influence of ultraviolet rays and dust. Please put it into a temporary simple board room,
etc. as much as possible. Please don’t cover it with waterproof cloth for long-term
storage, which will cause rust.
● Please perform following disposal before storage and check its status regularly.
<Procedures>
1）Clean the entire machine and repair the peeling paint. However, please do not to
clean electronic parts by steam or water.
2）If there are any defects, please perform maintenance and correction so as not to
affect the next time of operation.
3）Apply the lubricating oil to each movable part.
4）Seal the shaft of the drive unit with a plastic sheet, packaging tape, etc. to
prevent intrusion of moisture and dust.
5）Apply the rust agent to the exposed part of the piston rod and use the protective
cover.
6）If the amount of oil in the hydraulic tank is insufficient, replenish it to the
specified amount.
7）Remove the negative wire of the battery from the electrode.
8）Since the battery will naturally discharge, please charge it periodically when it is
not in use for a long time.
