METAL INSTALLATION
When installing onto metal Frontline requires metal substrates of minimum
20 gauge and that all fasteners penetrate though substrate. The substrate also
must withstand the required 5,000 lbs minimum breaking strength and approved
before use by a qualified person. Thereafter, then follow the next steps:
1. Use (20) #14 x 2.5” Hex Head Screws for metal decking applications.
2. Ensure that anchor is flat on the metal surface without any obstructions.
3. Insert the 20 screws through the anchor openings for metal use until the
anchor is secured and properly installed.
a. Align the anchor plate so that when screwing fasteners they are inserted
over the channel of the steel decking.
b. Do not apply torque or over tighten screws.
4. Visually and physically inspect that the anchor is fully and properly installed.
5. Once correctly installed and inspected, anchor is ready for use with the
compatible additional PFAS.
WARNING: Metal substrate must be fully secure to the building structure and
be able to withstand minimum breaking strength of 5,000 lbs or as part of a
Concrete Slab (min 3,000 PSI)
