WHAT IS A
PROPANE CHEST FREEZER?
1. An absorption operating cooling unit is NOT AS QUICK OR AS STRONG as a compressor
type. Moreover, because it operates with heat (instead of a compressor), it must be able to get rid
of this heat in the process of cooling the interior of the freezer. Room temperature greatly
affects the performance of an absorption appliance.
2. Every freezer is fully tested, and its performance is recorded with its serial number, in the
factory logbook.
3. How cold should an absorption freezer reach?
4. It will reach a minimum of -15°C (+5°Fah) at room temperature of +25°C (77°Fah), unless
something is faulty.
5. When the room temperature increases to +33°C (91.4°Fah), the freezer will stabilise at approx. -
10°C (14 °Fah). It will not maintain its temperature if operated for long period of time at over
35°C (95°Fah).
6. 6- A loaded freezer will reduce temperature fluctuations due to changes in the room
temperature. When a freezer is empty, it will get cold faster when operating at normal room
temperature, but it will equally get hot faster when operated at hot room temperature (over
+35°C (95°Fah)). It is important to check loading instructions in the manual, as it must be
loaded only gradually with unfrozen food.
7. IF YOU HAVE ANY PROBLEM WITH THE
THAT YOU WISH
ASSISTANCE WITH, PLEASE FILL IN THE ENCLOSED QUESTIONNAIRE
AND RETURN TO THE FACTORY, AT THE ADDRESS/FAX/E-MAIL
ADDRESSES SHOWN.
