What to do if my Frymaster FPEL Fryer displays 'SERVICE REQUIRED – ATO BOARD'?
- CCatherine VasquezAug 7, 2025
If your Frymaster Fryer's controller displays 'SERVICE REQUIRED – ATO BOARD', first, check the fuse on the right side of the ATO box to ensure it is secure and in good condition. Also, if the controller above the ATO box lacks power, inspect the fuse below the component box. Next, with the controller turned OFF, press the TEMP button to see if the ATO software version appears. If it doesn't, the connection between the ATO and the controller might be faulty. Ensure the 6-pin CAN connectors are tightly secured between the controller (J6 and J7) and the ATO (J9 or J10) boards. Finally, check that there is correct voltage to the ATO transformer. Restore power to the board and clear any service required errors.
