Make sure that all tractor flashing warning lights,
headlights, and brake/taillights are functioning properly
before proceeding onto public roads. While newer
model tractors have plenty of lighting to provide warning
signals as well as artificial operating lighting, most older
models where only equipped with operating lights.
Consult an authorized tractor dealer for lighting kits
and modifications available to upgrade the lighting on
older tractor models.
When operating on public roads, have consideration
for other road users. Pull to the side of the road
occasionally to allow any following traffic to pass. Do
not exceed the legal speed limit set in your country for
agricultural tractors. Always stay alert when
transporting the tractor and mower on public roads.
Use caution and reduce speed if other vehicles or
pedestrians are in the area.
Reduce speed before turning or applying the brakes.
Ensure that both brake pedals are locked together when
operating on public roads.
