B. Loading the Battery
While pushing the battery
release catch aside, load
the battery by aligning
the indicator (A orange)
and the battery indicator
(B orange). Check that
the battery is firmly held
in place.

Press p or q to select Year, Month,
Day, Hour, or Minute. Press n or o to
correct the setting.

How to insert a Memory Card.
Load the battery into the battery charger BC-45. Set the battery
correctly as indicated by the polarity icon.

Plug the battery charger into a power outlet. The charging indicator
lights orange and charging begins. When charging is completed, the
indicator turns off. Charging ends after about 100 minutes.
