The air conditioner is designed to regulate room temperature and humidity, offering various operational modes including AUTO, COOL, DRY, FAN, and HEAT. It features a remote controller for convenient operation, allowing users to adjust temperature, fan speed, and airflow direction. The unit also incorporates a POWERFUL mode for rapid cooling or heating, and an ECONOMY mode to save electricity by conservatively adjusting room temperature. A SLEEP TIMER function is available to automatically control temperature settings during sleep and turn off the unit after a set period. The device is equipped with an automatic defrosting function to prevent frost buildup on the outdoor unit during heating in cold, humid conditions, which could otherwise reduce performance. An auto-restart function ensures the unit resumes previous operation after a power interruption.
The air conditioner is operated primarily via a remote controller, which allows for precise control over its functions. The START/STOP button initiates or terminates operation. The MODE button cycles through AUTO, COOL, DRY, FAN, and HEAT modes. Temperature adjustments are made using the SET TEMP. buttons, with ranges of 18-30 °C for AUTO, COOL/DRY, and 16-30 °C for HEAT. These can be combined to create integrated ON-OFF or OFF-ON program timers. The SLEEP TIMER provides a comfortable sleeping environment by automatically adjusting temperature and turning off the unit after a set duration. The POWERFUL button activates a quick cooling or heating function, which automatically deactivates after 20 minutes or when the set temperature is reached. The ECONOMY button enables an energy-saving mode, which adjusts room temperature slightly higher in COOL mode and lower in HEAT mode, and can improve dehumidification without significantly lowering room temperature.
The indoor unit features an intake grille, which must be completely shut for proper operation. Vertical airflow direction louvers can be adjusted via the remote controller, but manual adjustment is not recommended. Horizontal airflow direction louvers are adjusted manually using two knobs, but only after the vertical louvers have stopped moving. The unit also has indicator lights for ECONOMY (green), TIMER (orange, blinks for errors), and OPERATION (green, blinks for defrosting). In case the remote controller is lost or malfunctions, a Manual AUTO button on the indoor unit allows for basic operation (stop, AUTO, or forced cooling).
Safety precautions are emphasized, including not operating the unit with wet hands, not inserting objects into the unit, and avoiding direct exposure to the cooling airflow for extended periods. It is also advised to provide occasional ventilation during use and to always operate the product with air filters installed.
Regular maintenance is crucial for optimal performance and longevity of the air conditioner. Daily care involves gently wiping the indoor unit body with a soft cloth, avoiding water hotter than 40 °C, and harsh cleaning agents like benzene or thinner.
The air filters require periodical cleaning, ideally once every two weeks under normal use, to prevent reduced efficiency, airflow, and increased operating noise. To clean the filters, the intake grille is opened, and the filters are unlatched and pulled out. Dust can be removed with a vacuum cleaner or by washing the filters with neutral household detergent and warm water. After rinsing, the filters should be thoroughly dried in a shaded place before reinstallation, ensuring the claws snap firmly into the guide holes.
The intake grille itself can be gently washed with water or wiped with a soft cloth moistened with warm water, then dried before reattaching it to the unit.
For extended non-use periods (1 month or more), it is recommended to perform a FAN operation for half a day to thoroughly dry the internal parts before resuming normal operation.
Additional inspection by authorized service personnel is recommended after long periods of use, as accumulated dust inside the indoor unit can reduce performance even with regular user maintenance. The manual also advises consulting authorized service personnel for any repairs, installation, or relocation, as the product contains no user-serviceable parts. In case of malfunction, such as burning smell or water leaks, the unit should be immediately stopped, power disconnected, and service personnel contacted. The aluminum fins of the heat exchanger should not be touched during maintenance to avoid personal injury.
