  Poor cooling or heating performance of your Fujitsu Air Conditioner can be caused by several factors: * A dirty air filter. * Blocked air intake grille or outlet port. * Incorrect room temperature settings. * An open window or door. * Bright sunlight entering the room during cooling operation (close the curtains). * Too many heat-generating devices or people in the room during cooling operation. * The unit being set to SUPER QUIET operation.

  If your Fujitsu Air Conditioner doesn't operate at all, check the following: 1. Ensure the Power Supply Plug is connected to its outlet. 2. Check for a power failure. 3. See if a fuse has blown or a circuit breaker has been tripped. 4. Verify the POWER switch is set to the ON position. 5. Make sure the timer is not operating.

  Weak or stopped airflow in your Fujitsu Air Conditioner can occur due to: * Low fan speed during the start of Heating operation, allowing internal parts to warm up. * The outdoor unit stopping and the indoor unit operating at very low fan speed if the room temperature rises above the thermostat setting during Heating operation. * Temporary stops (7-15 minutes) during Heating operation for Automatic Defrosting. * Very low fan speed during Dry operation or when the unit is monitoring the room’s temperature. * SUPER QUIET operation mode. * Monitor AUTO operation.

  Your Fujitsu Air Conditioner might not operate immediately because: * If the unit is stopped and then immediately started again, the compressor will not operate for about 3 minutes to prevent fuse blowouts. * When the Power Supply Plug is disconnected and then re-connected, the protection circuit will operate for about 3 minutes, preventing unit operation.

  You may hear noise from your Fujitsu Air Conditioner due to: * Water flowing in the air conditioner’s piping during and immediately after operation. * Coolant flowing, particularly noticeable for about 2 to 3 minutes after starting operation. * A sizzling sound during Heating operation, which is produced by the Automatic Defrosting operation.
