Why is my Fujitsu AUT12 Air Conditioner cooling/heating poorly?
    • K
      Karina PalmerAug 9, 2025
Several factors can impact the cooling or heating performance of your Fujitsu Air Conditioner. Check if the air filter is dirty, or if the air intake or outlet are blocked. Ensure your thermostat is set correctly and that no windows or doors are open. If cooling, close curtains to block direct sunlight. Also, consider if there are heat-generating devices or too many people in the room.

If your Fujitsu Air Conditioner doesn't operate at all, first check if the power supply plug is properly connected to the outlet. Also, verify if there has been a power failure. Check the fuse to see if it has blown out, or if a circuit breaker has been tripped. Finally, make sure the timer is not running.

Why is the airflow weak on my Fujitsu Air Conditioner?
    • Z
      zskinnerAug 19, 2025
Weak or stopped airflow in your Fujitsu Air Conditioner can occur for several reasons. When heating starts, the fan speed is temporarily low to allow internal parts to warm up. During heating, if the room temperature exceeds the thermostat setting, the outdoor unit stops, and the indoor unit operates at a very low fan speed. The unit may also temporarily stop during heating for automatic defrosting (7-15 minutes). The fan might operate at very low speed during dry operation or when monitoring the room temperature. In monitor AUTO operation, the fan runs at a very low speed.

What are the reasons for noise from Fujitsu AUT12?
    • B
      brian74Aug 29, 2025
Various noises can be normal for a Fujitsu Air Conditioner. You might hear water flowing during and after operation. A slight squeaking can occur due to temperature-related expansion/contraction of the front cover. During heating, a sizzling sound may be heard occasionally due to automatic defrosting.

Why is my Fujitsu Air Conditioner emitting mist or steam?
    • J
      jacobsedwardSep 3, 2025
A thin mist from your Fujitsu Air Conditioner during cooling or dry operation is due to the sudden cooling of room air, causing condensation. During heating, steam from the outdoor unit, accompanied by the fan stopping, is due to automatic defrosting.
