Why is my Fujitsu AUT36A cooling or heating poorly?

  Several factors can impact the cooling or heating performance of your Fujitsu Air Conditioner. Check if the air filter is dirty, or if the air conditioner’s intake grille or outlet port are blocked. Ensure that the room temperature settings (thermostat) are correctly adjusted and that no windows or doors are open. For cooling, close curtains to block bright sunlight. Also, consider if there are heat-generating appliances or too many people in the room.

Why is the airflow weak or stopping in my Fujitsu Air Conditioner?

  Weak or stopped airflow in your Fujitsu Air Conditioner can occur for several reasons. When heating starts, the fan speed is temporarily very low to allow internal parts to warm up. During heating, if the room temperature exceeds the thermostat setting, the outdoor unit will stop, and the indoor unit will operate at a very low fan speed. The unit will also temporarily stop during the Automatic Defrosting mode, which can last between 2 and 16 minutes. The fan may also operate at very low speed when the unit monitors the room’s temperature, or in monitor AUTO operation.

Why is there noise coming from my Fujitsu Air Conditioner?

  You might hear the sound of water flowing in the air conditioner’s piping during operation and immediately after stopping the unit. A slight squeaking sound might occur due to minute expansion and contraction of the panel caused by temperature changes. During heating, a sizzling sound might be heard occasionally, which is produced by the Automatic Defrosting operation.
