After completing the function setting, be sure to disconnect the power and reconnect it
again.
6. TEST RUN
WARNING
Do not turn on the power until all installation work is complete.
CAUTION
When restarting after a long period of disuse in the winter, turn the power switch on at
least 12 hours before starting the unit.
Check items
Is operation of each button on the remote controller normal?
Does each lamp light normally?
Do air ow direction louvers operate normally?
Is the drain normal?
Do not have an abnormal noise and vibration during operatio
n?
Do not operate the air conditioner in test run for a long time.
NOTES: • After test run, a buzzer beeps.
If the indoor unit fan rotates and the ECONOMY lump blinks, refrigerant
leakage may have occurred.
Open the windows to ventilate the room and contact an authorized service
personnel.
[Operation method]
Depending on your installation, choose from the following:
By the wireless remote controller (with [TEST RUN])
(1) To start test run, press [START/STOP] and [TEST RUN] on the remote controller.
(2) To end test run, press [START/STOP] on the remote controller.
By the indoor unit or IR receiver unit
(1) To start test run, press [MANUAL AUTO] of the unit for more than 10 seconds (forced
cooling).
(2) To end test run, press [MANUAL AUTO] for more than 3 seconds or press [START/
STOP] on the remote controller.
(3) The Operation indicator lamp and Timer indicator lamp will simultaneously flash during
the test run mode.
By the wired remote controller
(1) For the operation method, refer to the installation manual and the operation manual of
the wired remote controller.
Heating test run will begin in a few minutes when HEAT is selected by the remote control-
ler [reverse cycle model only].
