Removing the CPU
Preliminary steps required:
■ Removing the battery
■ Removing the ODD
■ Removing the memory modules
■ Removing the dust filter
■ Removing the keyboard
■ Removing the upper assy
■ Removing WLAN/UMTS modules
■ Removing the SmartCard sub board
■ Removing the LED board
■ Removing the audio board
■ Removing the HDD
■ Removing the fan
■ Removing the bay sub board
■ Removing the mainboard
■ Removing the heat sink module
► Open the CPU lock (green arrow).
► Gently lift out the CPU.
