ADVANCED MENU – SETTING DEVICE FEATURE CONTROLS
Depending upon your LIFEBOOK model, the Advanced
Menu allows you to:
• Set Boot configurations
• Configure serial and parallel ports
• Set the keyboard features
• Enable or disable the Bluetooth, WLAN, WWAN,
front camera, and rear camera
• Configure CPU and USB features in your system
• Configure Intel(R) Management Engine features
(See Navigating through the Setup Utility on page 2 for
more information.)
The following tables show the names of the menu
fields for the Advanced Menu and its submenus, all of
the options for each field, the default settings and a
description of the field’s function and any special
information needed to help understand the field’s use.

Boot Configurations All When selected, opens the Boot Configurations submenu, which allows enabling
or disabling various Boot features.
Serial/Parallel Port

When selected, opens the Serial/Parallel Port Configurations submenu, which
allows you to configure the serial and parallel ports.
Keyboard Features All When selected, opens the Keyboard Features submenu, which allows setting
NumLock parameters.
Video Features All When selected, opens the Video Features submenu, which allows you to select
the displays to use while in BIOS Setup utility.
