The installation of radio components not approved by Fujitsu Technology Solutions
will invalidate the certifications issued for this device.
Depending on the device configuration you ordered, your device will be
equipped with Wireless LAN, Bluetooth and / or UMTS.
Switching the wireless components on and off
Before switching on
your device for the first time, the o n/off switch for
wireless component
s must be in the "ON" position.
► Slide the O N/OFF s witc h into the "ON"
position to a ctivate the wireless components.

► Slide the ON/OF F switch to the
"OFF" position to d eactivate the
wireless components.
The Bluetooth and UMTS modules and the wireless LAN transmission unit (antenna)
will also be switched off when you switch off the wireless components.
You can also deactivate the wireless components individually in th e BIOS Setup.In
order to be able to do this, you will either nee d to know the supervisor password
if one has been assigned, or no password must have been assigned.
Pay attention to the additional safety notes for devices with radio components
provided in the "Safety/R egulations" manual.
Details on using Wireless LAN can be found in the online help system
included in the Wireless LAN software.
You can find more information on how to use Bluetooth on the CD you
received with your Bluetooth software.
You can obtain more information on UMTS from your service provider.
