Indoor unit electronic expansion
valve doesn't work.
Fully closed state.
When the relevant indoor unit
performs the cooling operation,
the compressor operates, but the
air flow temperature of the indoor
unit is not cool.
When the relevant indoor unit
performs the heating operation,
the compressor operates, but the
air flow temperature of the indoor
unit is not warm.
(1)Disconnect the plug from PCB
and check the coil resistance
(red-white, red-orange, brown-
blue, brown-yellow):100~200 .
(2)Turn off the power source of
PCB of the indoor unit to initi-
alize the electronic expansion
valve for several times. Put a
3-minute interval between
each initializations. The elec-
tronic expansion valve may
return to normal.

Outdoor unit electronic expansion
valves(EEV1, EEV2) doesn't work.
Fully closed state (Don't open).
Check the oil resistance(red-
white, red-orenge, brown-blue,
brown-yellow): 170~210 .
There is no effective check At low outdoor temperatures,
cooling may become poor when
EEV1 or EEV2 is open excessi-
vely.
Coil resistance (red-white, red-
yellow):

RB unit solenoid valve (SVD) is
faulty.
During heating operation, a
voltage (AC 220-240V) is applied
to indoor control PCB CN6 [in the
cases of wall mounted and ceill-
ing wall type indoor units CN5]
(across terminals 2-4), but the
gas pipe and airflow of indoor
unit does not become warm.
(1)Check the voltage.
(2)Disconnect the plug from PCB
and check the coil resistance:
Coil resistance :
1,200 ~ 1,500
When a voltage(AC220V) is
applied to the coil of the heat
exchange 4-way valves(4WV2,
4WV3, 4WV4) and to the heat
exchanger solenoid valves(SV7,
SV8) corresponding to the
electronic expansion valves, the
outlet pipes of electronic expan-
sion valves don't become cold in
heating operation condition.
RB unit solenoid valve (SVS) is
faulty.
During cooling operation, a
voltage (AC 220-240V) is applied
to indoor control PCB CN6 [in the
cases of wall mounted and ceill-
ing wall type indoor units CN5]
(across terminals 1-4), but the

terval between each initializations.
