4.17.7 How to delete the AIS messages that meet the criteria

Do as follows to delete the AIS messages that meet the criteria.

1. Open the menu.

2. Select [5 TT•AIS].

3. Select [5 AIS].

4. Select [8 MESSAGE OPTION].

5. Select [3 DELETE RECEIVED MSGS].

6. Select the criteria to mark the messages as read, then select [YES].

• [TARGET]: Delete all AIS messages from the AIS-equipped ships, SAR air-

crafts and AIS base stations.

• [ATON]: Delete all AIS AtoN messages.

• [SART]: Delete all AIS-SART messages.

• [ADDRESSED]: Delete all addressed messages.

• [BROADCAST]: Delete all broadcast messages.

7. Close the menu.
