13. Troubleshooting
INTERFERENCE
CAUSE
DISPOSAL
1) Engine does
not start
• Check whether the
fuel contains water or is
of inferior quality
• Check whether the
engine is "flooded"
• Check spark plug
• Use new fuel
• Remove spark plug
and dry it. Then pull
starter without choke
• Use a new spark plug
2) Low Power,
poor acceleration,
Out-of-round
idling
• Check whether the
fuel contains water or is
of inferior quality
• Check whether the air
filter or fuel filter is
clogged
• Check carburettor
settings
• Use new fuel
• Cleaning
• Set idle speed
according to S19
3) No oil supply
• Check whether the oil
is of inferior quality
• Check for blockage on
oil pipelines and openings
• Replace
• Cleaning
