Installing the protective shield
Install the protective shield with the opening facing
downwards towards the gearbox housing. Tighten
the holder of the guard so that the blade guard does
not move or slide down during operation.
Mounting the metal blade
Steps:
1. Place the key (1) in the hole on the gearhead.
2. Remove the nut, the cover (4) and the
upper distance washer (3) from the gear shaft.
3. Place the metal sheet centrally on the lower
Distance washer (2). Make sure that the marked
side of the cutting blade is in contact with the disc (2).
4. Slide the upper spacer disc (3) over the
Gear shaft to the unmarked side of the metal sheet.
Make sure that the lower (unmarked) side of the cutting blade is in contact with the
upper spacer disc (3).
5. Put on the silver ring = cover (4) and screw the union nut tight with the gear head
locked
(see point 1).
