Instructions
The
GTM
delivers
Traffic
Message
Channel
(TMC)
information,
including
road
conditions
and
traffic
delays,
to
your
GPS
device.
When
traffic
information
is
received,
your
GPS
device
displays
traffic
delays
on
the
map.
Your
nuvi
uses
this
information
to
avoid
traffic
delays
and
find
the
fastest
routes.
The
traffic
information
is
broadcast
over
the
HD
Radio
band.
When
HD
service
is
not
available
in
the
user's
area,
the
GTM
will
provide
data
through
an
RDS-
TMC
channel.
In
that
event,
the
GTM
and
the
GPS
device
must
be
in
data
range
of
an
FM
station
transmitting
TMC
data
to
receive
traffic
information.
NOTE:
Garmin
is
not
responsible
for
the
accuracy
of
the
traffic
information.
The
GTM
receives
signals
from
the
traffic
service
provider
and
displays
that
information
on
your
GPS
device.
